Anima Retreat

Anima Retreat is only available foe reservations from May to October, but this little beach house retreat offers double bedrooms and shared bathrooms. Meals are home cooked and delicious. Anima Retreat is idea for couples to spend a week end together in a rare setting for unity with nature. The beach is beautiful and only 300 feat out the door, so you will love the soothing sound of the ocean. It has been said that all the natural surroundings is truly relaxing and beautiful.

To get to Anima Retreat By Car: traveling from the West
Long Island Expressway east to 59 south. Turn right at 1st light on Ocean Avenue, Route 93. Travel 6.5 miles south on Rte.93 which becomes Lakeland Ave. After 2nd RR crossing make left at light onto Main Street. Follow green & white "Fire Island Ferry" signs to the terminal. Take ferry boat to Cherry Grove.

Or By Car: traveling from the East
Long Island Expressway west to exit 62 South (Blue Point). Take Nicholls Road, Route 97, 5.5 miles to 3rd light which is Rte 85, Montauk Highway. Turn right onto Foster Ave. Follow green & white "Fire Island Ferry" signs to the terminal. Take ferry boat to Cherry Grove.

By Plane
Arrive at the Islip Airport. From the courtesy desk telephone for taxi to the Fire Island Ferry terminal. Travel time from the airport to ferry terminal approx 15 minutes. Take the ferry boat to Cherry Grove.
